Cooker #11
Time for another handful of cookers. My #Twitter screen capture reveals how I was nudged into listening to a band new to me and including one of their tracks which I reckoned might help a cooking session go with a swing.
Swing is what it's all about with Noelle ... well, that and her vintage, smooth-as-silk vocal delivery. A perfect voice for nostalgic performances of classic standards as you can hear from the tracks available on her website. All the more refreshing to learn that she does not limit her listening enjoyment to music from decades before she was born!
High Tyde manage to be horribly young, hail from Brighton and produce smile-inducing bouncy sounds. Not needed for every occasion... but very welcome in my latest playlist.
More bounce and a bit of bumbling nostalgia in the rest of the tracks. They make up one carefully prepared hour for your consideration.
